Sydney Zhang is an undergraduate researcher at the UC San Diego Computer Science and Engineering Department, focusing on the intersection of mathematical proofs and machine learning to develop an AI tutor for writing proofs. Additionally, Sydney serves as a tutor for CSE 11, where mentorship and collaboration with faculty enhance students’ programming skills. At the UC San Diego Design Lab, Sydney is a research intern, creating a widget that integrates AI technology into templates for idea analysis. Sydney's experience as a software developer at Triton Software Engineering involves front and back-end development for a mobile app aimed at supporting minority communities. Sydney is an active member of Women In Computing at UCSD, sharing experiences and gaining technical skills, and has previously served as a vice president in the Campolindo Technovation Club. Educational experiences include mentoring roles as a teaching assistant intern at UC Berkeley's Academic Talent Development Program. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at UC San Diego, Sydney Zhang continues to build on a solid foundation in technology and education.
