Tom Metcalf

Tom Metcalf has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Tom started their career at Fisher Mills, Inc. in 1995, where they served as the IS Manager/GM. During their time there, they developed and managed the IT and IS systems of the corporation and provided business analysis expertise to profit center management teams.

In 2002, Tom joined Kent School District as the Manager of Technical Systems. Tom quickly rose through the ranks and held positions such as Director of Technical & Customer Service and Director of Application Services. In these roles, they ensured software development aligned with standards, provided leadership in implementing a new Student Information System, and reduced issue resolution time while reducing staff.

From 2007 to 2013, Tom worked at Blood Bank Computer Systems, Inc. (BBCS) as the Dir. of Customer Service & Operations, Regulatory Compliance. Tom established and implemented corporate objectives for various departments and successfully centralized customer support and product implementation.

In 2013, Tom joined Triton Technical as the Customer Service Manager (Global Services). Tom provided management and leadership to the Client Operations Department, ensuring an unparalleled customer experience and effective services to clients worldwide.

Tom then returned to Kent School District in 2014 as the Director of Business Services. Tom played a lead role in business process development, procurement, and financial tracking and reporting. Tom also served as the Director of Technology Operations & Service, overseeing IT operations and coordinating cost reductions.

Currently, Tom is the Director of Operations at Triton Technical, a position they started in 2022. In this role, they are responsible for the overall operations of the company.

Tom Metcalf attended Northwest University from 1992 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a specialization in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management. In addition to their degree, Tom also holds certifications in ITIL - Foundations, obtained from AXELOS Global Best Practice in February 2016, and Scrum Product Owner, obtained from the Scrum Alliance in August 2011.
