Jessica Ibarra has a diverse work experience in the field of HR and payroll. Jessica started their career in 2006 at HFF as a Human Resources Associate - Payroll and worked there until 2012. Jessica then joined 1st Global as a Human Resources Payroll Administrator and worked there for three years. In 2016, they worked briefly as a Project Attorney at Level 2 Legal before joining 1st Global again as an HRIS Analyst / Payroll Specialist. Additionally, they worked at TBK Bank, SSB from 2016 onwards, initially as a Payroll Specialist, later promoted to Payroll Manager, and finally became the Senior Payroll Manager. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Triumph Financial, Inc. as a Project Manager.

Jessica Ibarra began their education at Dallas College, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in 2006. Jessica then attended Texas A&M University-Commerce from 2006 to 2008, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Political Science and Government. Afterward, Jessica pursued a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree at Texas A&M University School of Law from 2011 to 2015. Jessica became a licensed attorney in Texas through the State Bar of Texas in November 2015.

In terms of additional certifications, Jessica obtained the Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification from the American Payroll Association in 2011. Jessica further enhanced their credentials by becoming a Professional Scrum Master I through Scrum.org in May 2016. Most recently, Jessica obtained the Certified Change Practitioner certification from Prosci in November 2022.
