Onur Tekir

Onur Tekir is a seasoned Senior Data Engineer with extensive experience in data quality, governance, and infrastructure across multiple organizations. Currently at trivago since April 2021, Onur focuses on content data quality and has developed an in-house Data Quality Tool named tDQ. Prior roles include serving as a Data & Machine Learning Specialist at Eldor Corporation, where Onur designed the company's big data infrastructure, and as a Data Engineer & Software Specialist at HUGO BOSS, leading the implementation of Hadoop clusters. Earlier experiences include full-stack software development and IT support at IKEA and as an IT Consultant, engaging in .NET application development. Onur holds a BS in Business Administration from Anadolu University and has a comprehensive background in modernizing and optimizing software and data systems.
