Dunston Almeida has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Dunston started their career in 2004 at Global Crossing, where they worked in global strategy and M&A until 2008. Dunston then joined Tracer Capital Management as a sector head until 2010. From 2010 to 2013, they worked at Medco, focusing on global strategy and M&A with a focus on BRIC and healthcare IT. In 2013, they joined eviCore healthcare as EVP of Strategy and Business Development, where they led a tech-enabled healthcare services company. From 2018 to 2019, they served as EVP of Strategy, Corporate Development & Product at Zelis Healthcare, a healthcare cost management and payments solutions provider. In 2019, they became an investor at Red Bear Angels, a VC firm. Dunston also joined Purple Lab as a member of the Board of Directors in the same year. In 2020, they worked as a healthcare advisor at TPG. Most recently, in 2021, they founded and became the CEO of triValence. Throughout their career, Dunston Almeida has gained expertise in healthcare, technology, strategy, and business development.

Dunston Almeida obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University from 1992 to 1995.
