Ravi Chandar

Ravi Chandar's work experience includes being the Chief General Manager (Projects, Engineering & Utilities) at Triveni Engineering & Industries Limited since April 2022. Before that, they were the General Manager (Cogeneration) from April 2018 to March 2022 at the same company. Ravi also held the position of Addl. General Manager (Cogeneration) from December 2009 to April 2018, where they managed various projects and oversaw the operations and maintenance of cogeneration plants, as well as the utilities of sugar and distillery plants. Prior to their time at Triveni Engineering & Industries Limited, they worked as the Senior Manager Utility Power Projects at Cethar Vessels Limited for a brief period in 2009. Ravi also has experience as a Senior Manager (Cogeneration) at Triveni Engineering & Industries Limited from June 2005 to May 2009. Ravi Chandar started their career as an Executive Engineer at The Singareni Collieries Company Limited, where they worked from January 1990 to June 2005. Ravi began their professional journey as a JE at Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited for a short period in 1989.

Ravi Chandar has a diverse education history. In 1986 to 1988, they attended AP State Board of Technical Education & Training and earned a degree in DME, which focused on Mechanical Engineering. From 1989 to 1993, Ravi Chandar pursued AMIE(India) at the Institution of Engineers India, specializing in Mechanical Engineering Related Technologies/Technicians. In 2005, they obtained a BOE degree in Boiler Operation Proficiency Engineering from the Directorate of Boilers - Karnataka State. Finally, in 2010, Ravi Chandar received a Proficiency Certificate in Energy Management from the Bureau of Energy Efficiency.
