Craig Wilson has an extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Craig is currently working at Virgin Money UK PLC as the Head of FX Sales and Trade Finance, where they lead the Foreign Exchange sales and execution team as well as the Trade Finance team. Craig'srole involves coaching and developing the team, driving cultural change, and delivering digital dealing platforms and processes.

Prior to this, Craig was seconded to Virgin Money UK PLC as the Project Lead for the CLBILS Government Loan Scheme. In this role, they established and operated the loan scheme, assessed incoming applications for eligibility, and ensured compliance with the scheme rules during the lending process.

Before joining Virgin Money UK PLC, Craig worked at Triyit UK as a Non Executive Director. At Triyit UK, they were involved in linking manufacturers and retailers of FMCG businesses, operating a product discovery club for consumers.

Craig also has experience as the Owner/Founder of South West Farmer Group, where they drove business strategy and operational excellence. Craig was responsible for the procurement of animal feed products for a group of dairy farmers.

Additionally, Craig has worked at WALLACE EQUITY as a Director, focusing on venture capital and private equity investments in Scottish companies. Craig also worked at Clydesdale Bank and National Australia Bank, where they provided treasury solutions for corporate and SME clients in foreign exchange, commodities, and interest rate risk.

Earlier in their career, Craig held roles as a Business Development Partner and Business Banking Manager at Clydesdale Bank, as well as a Business Consultant at Andersons and ADAS. In these roles, they worked with agribusiness clients on business plans, investment analysis, and overall strategy.

Craig Wilson attended Lockerbie Academy from 1985 to 1991, where they studied subjects such as Maths, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Geography. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at Edinburgh University from 1991 to 1995. During this period, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture with a focus on Business Studies, Economics, Animal Science, and Agriculture. Craig Wilson graduated with a first-class honors degree from Edinburgh University.
