Peter Filato

Peter Filato is the EVP & Chief Financial Officer at TRJ TELECOM INC. Peter has over 25 years of experience in senior financial leadership roles. Prior to joining TRJ Telecom, they were the Chief Financial Officer, Manufacturing at Gildan from February 2006 to June 2019. From December 2000 to February 2006, they were the Vice President Finance at Alcan. From January 1997 to December 2000, they were the Vice President Finance at SNC Lavalin O&M Solutions Inc. And from January 1994 to December 1997, they were the Audit Manager at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton. Peter Filato is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University.

Peter Filato studied for their post-graduate diploma in accountancy at Concordia University. Peter then went on to study for a certificate in artificial intelligence at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology - Sloan School of Management. After this, they gained their chartered accountant designation from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Finally, they completed their bachelor's degree in accountancy at Concordia University.
