Monica Rolfsen is an accomplished academic and leader with extensive experience in the field of economics and management. Currently serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management at NTNU since January 2017, Monica has also held key positions such as Professor and Associate Professor at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Monica's leadership roles extend beyond academia, including positions as Styreleder for both Trøndelag brann- og redningstjeneste IKS and STIFTELSEN TRONDHEIM JAZZFESTIVAL, as well as Leder i Finansstyret at Studentersamfundet i Trondhjem. Prior experience includes a decade-long tenure in politics with Trondheim kommune and a significant role as a Senior Researcher at SINTEF. Monica holds a PhD from NTNU, where educational pursuits were undertaken from 1985 to 2008.

Trøndelag brann- og redningstjeneste IKS er den lokale faginstans for brannvern i Trondheim, Malvik, Indre Fosen, Oppdal og Rennebu kommuner. Vi har som primæroppgave å sikre lokalsamfunnet, kommunene, mot ulykker og skader forårsaket av brann og akutt forurensning.
