Marie Jacobsen Lauvås

Marie Jacobsen Lauvås is the Founder and CEO of Capeesh, a company specializing in machine intelligence and gamification for personalized language learning since May 2017. In addition to leading Capeesh, Marie serves on several boards, including the Diversity Council for Trondheim kommune and the Næringsforeningen i Trondheimsregionen, and is a board member for Trondheim Parkering AS and Trondheim Kammermusikkfestival. Marie has a background in investment and management with Locu Invest AS and has held leadership roles in various organizations, including Technoport as CMO and Head of International Strategy. Educational achievements include a Master of Science in Industrial Economics and Entrepreneurship from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, a Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Management from Gründerskolen at Boston University, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Chemistry and Biotechnology from the same university.
