Emad Aljunaidi

SVP, Integrated Supply Chain & Digital Transformation at Tronox

Emad Aljunaidi has over 18 years of experience in supply chain and procurement. Emad is currently the Chief Procurement Officer at Tronox, a global manufacturer of titanium products. Prior to their current position, Emad served as the Vice President of Supply Chain and Procurement at Cristal from January 2009 to April 2019. During their time at Cristal, Emad transformed the company from a traditionally region-based procurement organization to a unified, collaborative global organization. Emad also developed Cristal's global category expertise model and implemented an Enterprise Optimization Model that provided an end-to-end optimal margin enhancement to Cristal.

Previously, Emad worked as the Senior Sourcing Manager for Renewable Energy Fulfillment at General Electric from January 2001 to December 2009. While at GE, Emad spearhead the melding of Wind and Solar sourcing operations to create the Renewable Energy Sourcing Department. Emad also consolidated vendors, improved vendor service delivery, lowered costs and leveraged available expertise to develop long-term sustainable sourcing strategies for GE’s Renewables business. Emad also planned and directed the efforts of 50 strategic sourcing professionals located in the US, Brazil, Europe and Asia.

Emad Aljunaidi has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business, a Master of Science (MS) in Engineering Management from Syracuse University, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering with an Industrial Engineering concentration from The American University in Cairo. Emad also has a Master of Science (MS) in Manufacturing Engineering from Syracuse University. Emad is certified by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Leading Through Financial Excellence and is a CPIM Certification and GE Crotonville Corporate Training: MDC (2005) ALP (2004) NMDC (2003) FoL (2002). Emad is also an ISO 9000 Certified Auditor and a Six Sigma Green Belt.
