Justin Brent

Justin Brent's work experience begins in 2013 when they worked as a Vacation Process Engineer at ProMet Engineers Pty Ltd for two months. Justin then moved on to Iluka Resources, where they worked as a Vacation Metallurgist, responsible for a project on the aeration of reduced ilmenite. In 2015, they joined Rio Tinto as a Graduate Metallurgist, where they performed various tasks such as organizing and analyzing drill core test-work, preparation of technical reports, and optimizing plant throughput and product quality. In 2016, they started working at Alcoa as an Area Chemical Engineer, initially in the Clarification area and later in Evaporation & Heat Interchange. Their responsibilities included process monitoring, strategic projects, problem-solving, cost reduction initiatives, and leading process-related projects. Finally, in 2021, Justin joined Tronox as a Senior Process Engineer in Production and later transitioned to the role of Process Engineering Lead in Finishing.

Justin Brent attended Curtin University from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.
