Stephen Kua

Stephen Kua is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in machine learning and data analytics. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Trontal Group since June 2024, Stephen previously contributed to MoneyLion from October 2019 to May 2024 as a Machine Learning Scientist and Data Scientist, where noteworthy achievements included enhancing core underwriting models and developing an in-house autoML platform. Early roles also include a Data Science Internship at MoneyLion, improving NLP model performance, and a Web Developer Internship at NoNonsense Labs, focusing on Ruby on Rails. Stephen holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence from both the University of Nottingham and the University of Nottingham Malaysia, complemented by an iOS Mobile Development Bootcamp from NEXT Academy.
