Robert Buckland has a diverse work experience history. Robert began their career in 1995 as a Webmaster and Systems Analyst for Belize Telecommunications Limited. In 2000, they joined Spire Services as a Managing Director/Senior Consultant. Robert then transitioned to Tropic Air in the same year, where they worked as an IT Consultant until 2012. From 2006 to 2012, they also worked as an Independent Consultant. In 2012, they became the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Tropic Air.
Robert Buckland attended Fordham University from 1989 to 1991. Robert obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Language and Literature/Letters during their time there. In April 2014, they also obtained a certification in Gamification from Coursera Verified Certificates.
