Mihir Kekre

Mihir Kekre has extensive work experience in various roles related to commercial partnerships, project management, scientific operations, and genomics implementation. Mihir is currently the Head of Commercial Partnerships at Tropic, a role they took on in March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Commercial Partnerships Manager at Tropic from September 2021 to March 2023. Before joining Tropic, they were a Client Project Manager at Eagle Genomics Ltd. from February 2021 to September 2021. Mihir also held positions at The Centre for Genomic Pathogen Surveillance as a Scientific Operations Manager and Genomics Implementation Manager from June 2018 to February 2021. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Product Lead at Wellcome Sanger Institute, a Laboratory Pipeline Manager at MalariaGEN, an Advanced Research Assistant at Wellcome Sanger Institute, and a Research Assistant at the University of Oxford.

Mihir Kekre holds a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Biotechnology & Biopharmaceuticals from King's College London. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Biotechnology from Manipal Academy of Higher Education. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained certifications in Scrum Foundation Professional from CertiProf in February 2021 and PRINCE2 ® Foundation Certification Training from AXELOS Global Best Practice in March 2020.
