Katie Combs

Katie Combs has a diverse range of work experience. Katie started their career in 2015 as a Social Media Marketing Intern at Innovate Northstate. In 2015, they also worked as a West Coast Advertising Coordinator at M. Shanken Communications until 2018. At TaskRabbit, they held multiple roles, including Community Operations Associate and People Operations Specialist from 2018 to 2021. Katie then became a People Operations Business Partner at TaskRabbit from April 2021 to July 2021. From 2021 to 2022, Katie was a People Operations Manager at Grabango, a leading provider of checkout-free shopper technology. Currently, they are working as a Sr. Manager of People Operations at Tropic, starting in September 2022.

Katie Combs holds a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from California State University, Chico, which they obtained from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they received an Associate's degree in General Studies from Santa Rosa Junior College from 2010 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, they also attained the certification of SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM in June 2020.
