Desmond Yong

Desmond Yong has a strong background in project management and engineering. Desmond began their career as a Project Engineer at Nehemiah Reinforced Soil Sdn Bhd, where they monitored site work progress and ensured construction was carried out according to plans. Desmond then joined WLT Project Management Sdn Bhd as a Senior Design Engineer, where they were responsible for designing RC structural framing systems and overseeing the work of Junior Engineers. Desmond then moved to Syarikat Pembenaan Yeoh Tiong Lay Sdn Bhd as a Project Engineer, handling design and liaising with contractors. Currently, they are employed at Tropicana Corporation Berhad as an Assistant Project Manager, focusing on project planning, execution, and management. Desmond also assists the Senior Project Manager in technical coordination and manages the site team and contractors to ensure work is completed on time and within budget. Overall, Desmond's experience demonstrates their expertise in project management and design engineering.

Desmond Yong holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nottingham Malaysia, which they obtained from 2006 to 2010.
