Michael Gibson

Michael Gibson is an experienced conservation professional currently serving as the Idaho Policy Advisor and Sportsman Conservation Project Idaho Coordinator at Trout Unlimited since January 2016. Previously, Gibson held the role of Idaho and Southeast Oregon Field Coordinator and Outreach Coordinator at Sportsmen For Boulder White Clouds from February 2014 to January 2016, where efforts focused on coalition building for conservation protections. Earlier experience includes serving as Outreach Director for Montana Trout Unlimited from 2005 to 2013, managing various outreach initiatives, fundraising, and organizational programs. Gibson's career began as a Fishing Guide at The Missoulian Angler Fly Shop, with notable production experience as a Coordinating Producer at Barrett Productions for outdoor programming aired on major networks. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Zoology from the University of Montana and a Teacher Certification in Biology/General Science.
