Astrid Jensen-Atwood

Astrid Jensen-Atwood has extensive work experience in the animal health industry. Astrid is currently the Head of Strategic Marketing Europe & Central Asia at Trouw Nutrition, a position they have held since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Elanco from 2014 to 2023, where they held various roles including Transition Leader DACH, Portfolio and Launch Operations Manager Europe, Head International Launch Excellence, Launch Leader EMEA, Innovation Leader EMEA, Business Unit Manager Ruminants & Swine, and Business Unit Manager Swine. Before joining Elanco, Astrid worked at Novartis Tiergesundheit GmbH as a Territory Manager and Project Manager from 2011 to 2014. Astrid also spent several years at Novartis Animal Health Germany, holding positions such as Head of Marketing, Sales and Marketing Manager Farm Animal Business, Key Account and Product Manager Farm Animal Business, and Professional Service and Product Manager Farm Animal Business. Astrid began their career at Tieraerztliche Klinik Bossow, Hoya as a Veterinarian specializing in swine.

Astrid Jensen-Atwood attended Tieraerztliche Hochschule Hannover from 1989 to 1996, where they obtained their Dr. med. vet. degree in veterinary medicine.
