Melanie Sippel

Melanie Sippel is an experienced professional in the field of animal nutrition, currently serving as the Head of Nutrition & Innovation for Companion Animals at Trouw Nutrition since November 2022. Prior to this role, Melanie spent over 13 years at Trouw Nutrition Canada as a Nutritionist for Companion Animals, focusing on product development and technical support for pet food manufacturing. From May 2006 to December 2008, Melanie worked at Jones' Feed Mills Ltd. as a Quality Assurance Manager, overseeing quality initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites. Earlier experience includes a position as a Nutritionist and Quality Assurance Manager at Nutram Pet Products, where formula development was conducted for both domestic and export markets. Melanie holds a Master of Science in Animal Nutrition and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology, both from the University of Guelph.
