Elias van der Plicht

Elias van der Plicht is an accomplished historian and journalist with extensive experience in historical research, writing, and editing. Currently serving as a historian at Anne Frank Stichting, Elias has held various roles including journalist at Trouw, where responsibilities include writing reviews of newly published non-fiction and conducting interviews. Prior experience includes historical research at the Tweede Kamer der Staten-Generaal, contributing as a researcher for a documentary on Hitler at NOS, and producing work related to the National Monument Kamp Vught. Academic qualifications include a cum laude MA in Researchmaster Geschiedenis from the University of Amsterdam and multiple BA degrees from Leiden University in subjects such as Italian Language & Culture and Political Science.
