Gatool Katawazi

Gatool Katawazi is a journalist currently working at Trouw as a writer for the 'Opinie over de grens' section, since January 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a programmer and editor for Live Journalism at De Balie from January 2021 to December 2022 and as a programmer at Pakhuis de Zwijger from February 2020 to February 2021. Previously, Gatool worked as a researcher at the Van Gogh Museum from September 2019 to February 2020 and as a policy officer at the Representation of the Netherlands in Curacao from July 2016 to January 2017. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Sociology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam earned from 2018 to 2019 and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Public Administration with a focus on Economics, Governance, and Management from Leiden University obtained from 2014 to 2017.
