Yannis Katsaros

Yannis Katsaros has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and data science. Yannis started their career as a Field Engineer at Apache Corporation in 2015, where they gained practical experience in various field operations and equipment. Yannis then worked as a Completions Engineer at Apache Corporation in 2016, where they contributed to the strategic development plan for unconventional assets and developed a completions design tool. Yannis joined Apache Corporation again in 2017 as a Reservoir Engineer, where they conducted reservoir studies, economic analyses, and developed models and algorithms for production optimization. In 2020, they worked as a Data Scientist at H-E-B, and later as a Data Science Engineer at ARM Energy from 2020 to 2022. Currently, Yannis holds the position of Software Engineer at Trovata, starting in 2022.

Yannis Katsaros has a strong education background, primarily focusing on data science and engineering. Yannis began their education journey in 2013 at The University of Tulsa, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Petroleum Engineering. Yannis successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2017.

Afterwards, Yannis decided to further enhance their knowledge and skills in data science by attending The Johns Hopkins University. From 2018 to 2022, they dedicated their time to earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Data Science. This program provided him with a comprehensive understanding of various data science techniques and methodologies.

Alongside their academic achievements, Yannis also obtained several certifications to supplement their education. In April 2018, they successfully completed the HDP Analyst: Data Science certification from Hortonworks, demonstrating their proficiency in data science analytics. Furthermore, Yannis obtained the Machine Learning certification from Coursera in March 2018, further showcasing their dedication to expanding their skillset.

In October 2020, Yannis also became Triplebyte Certified as a Data Scientist, further validating their expertise in the field. These certifications, combined with their educational background, make Yannis a well-rounded and qualified candidate in the realm of data science.
