Cedric Davis

Cedric Davis has extensive work experience in the field of Information Technology and Telecommunications. Cedric is currently employed at Troy Medicare as the Information Technology & Telecommunications Manager since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at RDP Solutions Group as a Senior IT Technical Support from August 2020 to August 2021. Cedric also served as a Resident Engineer at ePlus Inc. from January 2018 to July 2020.

Before joining ePlus Inc., Cedric worked at Sempra Energy as a Technical Support Infrastructure Specialist from January 2017 to January 2018. In this role, they provided Tier III support for CITRIX v. 7x XENAPP, XenDesktop, and VMware Horizon View v7.x VDI administration.

From 2014 to 2016, Cedric held the position of Senior IT Support Specialist at The Cordella Group. During their tenure, they administered and supported VMware vSphere, VPN, and Nutanix. Cedric also provided high-level technical support for global SAP Basis users and external VPN users.

Prior to that, Cedric gained experience as a Senior IT Support at Overland-Tandberg from April 2013 to December 2014. Cedric also worked at IBM as a Senior Systems Administrator from April 2010 to February 2013.

Cedric's earlier career includes roles such as Senior Technical Specialist at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas from October 2006 to March 2010. Cedric also worked as a Senior Network Administrator/Server Consolidation at IBM Global Services from February 2006 to September 2006. Additionally, Cedric served as a Senior Network Consultant at Aon Hewitt (CSC/Volt) from January 2005 to January 2006, focusing on Hewlett-Packard BL series Blade technology and DL series server technology builds for VMware ESX v3.1 rollout.

Cedric Davis completed their education in a chronological manner. From 1987 to 1988, they attended Robert Morris University - Illinois where they pursued a degree in Computer Systems Specialist, focusing on Information Technology. Later, from 1994 to 1996, they attended DePaul University and obtained a degree in Liberal Arts, specializing in the same field.

In addition to their educational background, Cedric Davis also holds various certifications. In February 2015, they achieved the CCEA (Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator) certification from Citrix Systems. Around the same time, they also obtained the CCSP (Citrix Certified Pre-Post Sales Professional) certification. In January and February 2015, they obtained the MCP+I (Microsoft Certified Professional+Internet) and CCA (Citrix Certified Administrator) certifications respectively, both from Microsoft. Lastly, they also hold the MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) certification, which they obtained in January 2015 from Microsoft.
