Adnan Nawaz

Adnan Nawaz is a seasoned news professional with extensive experience in broadcasting and journalism. Currently serving as a News Anchor for TRT World since October 2017, Adnan covers major global developments and breaking news, providing analysis and context in a live studio environment. Prior to this role, Adnan worked at BBC World News from 2000 to April 2017, initially as a Sports Anchor and later as a news anchor, covering significant stories and events worldwide. Adnan's broadcasting career began as a Radio Producer for the British Broadcasting Corporation from January 1994 to January 2000, where notable achievements included winning a Sony Gold Award. Educational qualifications include a BSc in Economics with a focus on International Relations from The London School of Economics and Political Science and an MA in Latin American Politics from Queen Mary University of London.
