Amal Ahmed

Amal Ahmed is an experienced media professional with a strong background in news production and journalism. Currently serving as a Producer at TRT World since April 2018, Amal leads weekly news and current affairs shows, pitching and developing stories, writing scripts, and ensuring content accuracy. Previously, as a Broadcast Journalist at Alaraby TV Network from April 2014 to December 2017, Amal contributed to the network's launch and produced content targeting young viewers across the MENA region. Amal’s career also includes roles as a Video Producer and Technical Support Specialist at The Guardian News and Media, where significant skills in video production and technical problem-solving were developed. Additionally, a Help Desk Analyst position at the London Borough of Tower Hamlets provided foundational customer service experience. Educational qualifications were obtained from several institutions, including Queen Mary University of London and London Metropolitan University.
