David Foster

David Foster is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in broadcasting, currently serving as the presenter of "Beyond Borders" on TRT World since November 2016. This location-based show focuses on the lives of individuals affected by major global events, bringing attention to those often overlooked by mainstream media. Prior to TRT World, David held significant roles at Aljazeera English as a presenter and senior news anchorman from 2005 to 2016, Sky News as principal news anchorman from 1997 to 2005, and was a presenter at both Westcountry Television and TV-am. David began a career in journalism as a correspondent with Central News and holds educational credentials from Bedford School, where attendance spanned from 1967 to 1972.
