Javed Rana

Javed Rana is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in investigative reporting, documentary production, and analysis across various media platforms. Currently serving as the Editor for The Counter Narrative since January 2020, Javed also holds the position of Documentary Producer/Reporting at Channel News Asia, where notable work includes the award-winning documentary "Return of the Taliban." Additional roles include Analyst & Correspondent at A News International and Special Correspondent & Analyst at Expresso, among others. With educational qualifications in Journalism and a Master's degree in Mass Communication, Javed has contributed to numerous publications and has produced a wealth of content, including live event reports, documentaries, and interviews with prominent figures.
