Mohammad al-Tahhan

Mohammad AL-Tahhan is an experienced engineer specializing in media communications and technology, currently serving as an MCR Engineer at TRT Arabi and TRT World since June 2018. Responsibilities include managing the uplink and downlink chain for the TRT network, handling off-air channel processes, and operating MPEG2/MPEG4 encoders along with satellite communication equipment. Prior to this, Mohammad worked as a Network and System Engineer at New TR News Agency, where cable infrastructure and device configuration was managed for studio operations. Additionally, experience as an Assistant MCR Technician involved live satellite operations and maintenance. Prior roles also included a position as a Real Estate Consultant and IT Administrator. Mohammad holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications Engineering from the University of Aleppo, completed in 2016.
