Jen Thomas is the Director of Communications & Volunteer Services at TRU Community Care. Jen has over ten years of experience in the nonprofit sector, with a focus on program development, evaluation, and user engagement.

Jen began their career as a program coordinator at a small nonprofit organization in Boulder, Colorado. Jen quickly rose through the ranks and became the Vice President of Operations at Center for Neurodiversity, an innovative education organization for autistic individuals and their families.

In 2016, Jen joined MyLifeLine.org Cancer Foundation as the Director of Program and Development. MyLifeLine.org is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that encourages cancer patients and caregivers to create free personalized websites. Jen was responsible for program evaluation, user engagement, grants management, mission outreach, individual giving, donor stewardship, and event sponsorship.

Jen is passionate about TRU Community Care’s mission to provide high-quality, compassionate health care and support services to everyone in our community, regardless of ability to pay. In their role as Director of Communications & Volunteer Services, Jen oversees all aspects of TRU Community Care’s communications and marketing efforts, as well as the volunteer program.

Jen Thomas has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Psychology from Penn State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Manheim Township High School.

Jen Thomas works with Alan Catterson - Director of Technology & Facilities, Audra Rohn - Director of Finance, and David Wensel - CMO. Jen Thomas reports to Scott Gresser, CFO & Interim CEO.
