Aayush Thakur

Aayush Thakur has extensive experience in the transportation industry. Aayush began their career in 2009 as a Research Intern at the University of California Davis. In 2010, they became a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of South Florida. In 2011, they were a Traffic Operations Intern at Sarasota County Government. In 2012, they were a Senior Modeler at Cambridge Systematics, Inc. In 2016, they became a Senior Freight Planner at the Tennessee Department of Transportation. In 2018, they Co-Founded Kavya and FR8relay, an Arkansas-based technology company. In 2022, they became a Board Member at the Arkansas Association of Asian Businesses (AAAB) and a Council Member at Forbes Business Council.

Aayush Thakur obtained their Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati in 2010. Aayush then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering (Transportation Engineering) from the University of South Florida, which they completed in 2012. In 2011, they also obtained an Engineer-in-Training certification from the Michigan Board of Professional Engineers.
