Damon Nicholls

Damon Nicholls has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Damon currently serves as the Sr. Director of Business Development at truData Solutions, a technology services provider specializing in data, analytics, and integration solutions. Damon's role involves partnering with clients to enhance consumer insights, streamline processes, and increase revenues.

Prior to their current position, Damon worked as a Senior Technical Recruiter at Prosum, where they were responsible for recruiting IT professionals. Damon also held the role of Manager of Global Talent Acquisition at Sony Pictures Entertainment for over 15 years. In this role, they collaborated with various stakeholders to hire engineers, designers, editors, producers, and content managers for different projects within Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Damon has also worked as a Senior Technical Recruiter at Odesus, recruiting IT professionals for clients in the entertainment industry such as Warner Brothers, Sony, and Disney. Before that, they served as a Senior Technical Recruiter at Keane, Inc., where they managed the full recruitment process for Global 2000 companies and government agencies.

Early in their career, Damon worked as an IT Recruiter at Thor, providing IT and staffing services for contract and permanent positions. Damon developed new business through cold calling and research-based leads.

Throughout their career, Damon has demonstrated their expertise in talent acquisition, business development, and strategic staffing.

Damon Nicholls earned a BS degree in Human Services from California State University, Fullerton between 1994 and 1996. Prior to that, they attended Glyn School from 1981 to 1995. In addition to their formal education, Damon has also obtained various certifications in areas such as interviewing techniques, recruiting talent with social media, extreme productivity, the art of connection, and the morning habits of high performers from LinkedIn in 2020.
