Shailja Tewari

Shailja Tewari has a extensive work experience in marketing and portfolio management. Shailja is currently the Vice President of Global Marketing & Portfolio Management at Trudell Medical International (TMI), a position they have held since October 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Group Director of Global Marketing & Portfolio Management at TMI from October 2018 to October 2023.

Before joining TMI, Shailja served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Micralyne from 2017 to September 2018 and at StarTech.com from September 2015 to May 2017. Shailja also held various marketing positions at FUJIFILM SonoSite, Inc. from December 2012 to July 2015, including Sr. Director of Marketing, Asia-Pacific & The Middle East and Director of Global Marketing Strategy & Analytics.

Earlier in their career, Shailja worked as the Director of Marketing at FUJIFILM VisualSonics, Inc. from July 2010 to April 2013. Prior to that, they were the Director of Marketing at Sound Design Technologies, where they directed and managed new product development, portfolio management, strategic marketing and business planning. Shailja also achieved notable success in brand strategy and international business strategies.

Shailja began their career at Sound Design Technologies in various roles, including Marketing Manager, Senior Product Manager, and Senior Digital ASIC Designer. These roles spanned from October 2007 to December 2008, February 2005 to October 2007, and July 1999 to February 2005, respectively.

Shailja Tewari obtained their Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto - Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering in the years 1995 to 1999. Following this, they pursued further education and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Strategy, Finance, and Marketing at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management from 2006 to 2009.
