Gertjan Hondebrink

Gertjan (Ben) Hondebrink has a diverse work experience in web development and software engineering. Gertjan (Ben) started their career as a Trainee Web Developer at SLASH2, a digital agency, and later became a Web Developer, specializing in collaborating with clients to achieve project goals. Gertjan (Ben) then joined Australian Catholic University as a Web Developer, where they enhanced the public website to support national web standards and ensure accessibility across devices. Gertjan (Ben) also worked as an Analyst Programmer, designing and implementing technical solutions for the university. After that, Gertjan moved to True Alliance, a leading retailer and distributor, where they served as a Senior Developer, contributing to the maintenance, design, integration, and development of new features in the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform. Gertjan (Ben) later transitioned to a role as a Lead Developer, taking on the additional responsibilities of mentoring and guiding team members.

Gertjan (Ben) Hondebrink attended ROC Friesepoort from 2005 to 2011, where they studied Mediatechnologie (Mediatechnology). Additionally, they obtained certifications such as ScrumMaster® from Scrum Alliance in July 2017, Sitecore® XP 8 Website Development for .NET Developers Certification from Sitecore in 2016, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud Digital Certified Developer from Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
