Matthew Linton has a diverse and extensive work experience. Matthew is currently working as the Chief Legal Officer at True Anomaly, where they are responsible for architecting the legal foundations of the company and developing legal strategies for success in the new space economy. Before joining Lockheed Martin, Matthew worked as Of Counsel at Ogletree Deakins, where they represented employers of various sizes and industries in litigation related to workplace safety and health cases, government investigations, and employment matters across the United States. During their tenure, they advised businesses on navigating employment law issues related to artificial intelligence technologies and incorporating them into effective client representations. Matthew also handled complex mine safety and health litigation, including high-stakes proceedings before the Federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commission.

Matthew's previous work experience includes roles at Holland & Hart LLP, where they litigated workplace safety and health cases and employment matters for diverse industries. Matthew was also a member of the firm's Technology Advisory Committee and co-founded the Workplace Safety Report, offering attorney-curated insights on developments in workplace safety and health law.

Matthew began their legal career as an Assistant Regional Counsel at the Social Security Administration and later worked as a Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Labor. Matthew also gained valuable experience as an Associate at Kennedy Childs & Fogg, P.C., and served as a Judicial Law Clerk for Chief Justice Mary Mullarkey at the Colorado Supreme Court and as a Judicial Intern for Judge John L. Kane at the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.

In addition to their legal positions, Matthew founded MacOS Daily in 1996, where they served as the founder until 2000.

Matthew Linton obtained their Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, in Philosophy from the University of Colorado Boulder from 1999 to 2003. Subsequently, they pursued a Juris Doctor degree in Law from the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law, completing it from 2003 to 2006. In 2018, Matthew Linton attended the MIT Sloan School of Management for an executive education course in artificial intelligence. Additionally, they obtained the Colorado Law License from the Colorado State Supreme Court in October 2006. In August 2018, they also completed the "Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy" certification program offered by MIT Sloan Executive Education.
