Mizan Rahman

Mizan Rahman is a highly experienced aerospace engineer specializing in mechanical engineering for spacecraft and aircraft systems. Currently serving as a Staff Mechanical Engineer at True Anomaly since February 2025, Mizan leads the design, development, and testing of advanced mechanical systems for satellites. Previous roles include Principal Mechanical Design Engineer at Lilium, where Mizan oversaw the design and delivery of the landing gear system, and Technical Lead at SpinLaunch, focusing on satellite structural components. Mizan has also held key positions at The Spaceship Company and SpaceX, gaining extensive experience in landing gear design, structural analysis, and testing. Mizan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and has a notable history of leadership in engineering projects, including participation in student organizations and competitions.
