Director Of Strategic Integration at True Anomaly

Troy Hacker has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. From 2011 to 2016, they served as the Chief Engineer and Deputy Division Chief at the Air Force Research Laboratory. In this role, they managed a large team and oversaw the development and implementation of technology solutions for various organizations. From 2016 to 2018, Hacker worked as an Assistant Professor of Physics at the United States Air Force Academy. Here, they not only taught introductory physics courses but also played a role in shaping academic standards and building partnerships with national laboratories and space operators. In 2018, Hacker joined TEC Solutions as a Program Director and continued in this position until 2023. Then, they transitioned to True Anomaly where they currently hold the position of Product Manager.

Troy Hacker attended the United States Air Force Academy from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics. Following this, they pursued further education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from 1998 to 2000. Later on, in 2008, they enrolled at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Astronomy in 2011.

Additionally, Troy Hacker obtained a certification as a Science and Technology Manager - Level III from the Defense Acquisition University, in July 2013.
