Skye R.

Skye R. is a Spacecraft Mechanical Engineer at Millennium Space Systems, A Boeing Company, since April 2022. In addition, Skye serves as a Board Member and Volunteer Coordinator at Planet Rehab since February 2017. Previous experience includes roles as a Cable Assembly/Harnessing Engineer at Glenair from June 2021 to April 2022 and as a Math Tutor at the University of California, Merced in early 2021. Skye participated in the NASA L’SPACE Academy as a student for both the Proposal Writing and Evaluation Experience and the Mission Concept Academy in 2020, gaining skills in proposal writing and space project collaboration. Early internships took place at Glenair in 2019 and 2020, and Skye has retail experience as a cashier at Sam's Club in 2018. Skye holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Merced, earned in 2021, and graduated from St. Lucy's Priory High School in 2017.
