Sankaranarayanan Krishnan

Sankaranarayanan Krishnan is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in quantitative strategies and asset management. Currently serving as Portfolio Manager and Head of Quant Strategies at True Beacon since January 2025, Sankaranarayanan previously held the position of Fund Manager & Head of Quant Strategies at Magma Ventures, focusing on directional and market neutral hedge fund strategies. Prior roles include Quant Hedge Fund Manager at Motilal Oswal Asset Management Company Ltd. and Quant Equity Fund Manager at Alpha Alternatives, with an emphasis on systematic investment approaches. Sankaranarayanan's experience also encompasses senior quantitative research at MSCI Inc. and product development leadership at Indxx, along with an early career as a Credit Derivatives Analyst intern at Union Bank of India. Sankaranarayanan holds a PGDM from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, and a B.Tech. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology.
