Peter Washburne

Peter Washburne has extensive experience in the finance sector, currently serving as a Regional Specialist at True Benefit since December 2014. Prior to this role, Peter worked as a Financial Advisor for Independent Consulting from 2005 to December 2014, and as a Portfolio Manager at Bank of America from 2001 to 2005, where management of high-net-worth portfolios in the bank's Trust department was a key responsibility. Peter's earlier positions include Equity Portfolio Manager at People's United Bank (1996-2001), Equity Analyst at Conning and Company (1990-1995), and Senior Research Associate at Cambridge Associates (1987-1990). Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and Economics from Williams College and is a Chartered Financial Analyst certified by AIMR.
