Dave Immel

Dave Immel is a software architect at True Digital Surgery since April 2019, where development of graphics software for enhancing imagery from a digital stereo camera used in neurosurgery takes place. Prior experience includes serving as principal engineer at Autodesk from September 2007 to April 2019, director of software development at Instant Effects, Inc. from May 2003 to September 2010, senior software architect at Alias/Wavefront from November 1996 to April 2003, and member of the technical staff at Silicon Graphics from 1990 to 1996. Earlier, Dave Immel worked as a senior programmer at Wavefront Technologies from September 1986 to January 1990. Educational credentials include a BA and MS in Computer Science, Physics, and Computer Graphics from Cornell University, obtained between 1979 and 1986.
