True Friends
Chad Wagner is an experienced professional with a strong background in wellness and safety services. Currently serving as a Wellness Center Peer Educator at St. Olaf College since August 2013, Chad selects, trains, and advises the Student Wellness Peer Educators program while collaborating with various campus departments to enhance student services. Additionally, Chad has been a Respite Counselor at True Friends since May 2013, focusing on the health and welfare of participants with physical disabilities. Other roles include Waterfront Supervisor/Program Director at YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities, Lifeguard Instructor at St. Olaf College, and Lead Lifeguard at Bunker Beach Waterpark. Chad holds a degree from St. Olaf College, where studies were completed from 2011 to 2015.

True Friends is a nonprofit agency providing life-changing experiences that enhance independence and self-esteem for children and adults with disabilities. True Friends’ programs include camp, respite, therapeutic horseback riding, conference and retreat, travel, and team building; serving over 25,000 individuals annually. With locations near Maple Lake, Annandale, Plymouth, Eden Prairie, and Bemidji, True Friends serves individuals in Minnesota and throughout the United States.
