Israel Ortet

Israel Ortet is an experienced educator specializing in Spanish and English as a Second Language, with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Spanish Teacher at True North Classical Academy since August 2022, Israel Ortet also operates Rhema Translations, a business launched in May 2017. In addition, Israel Ortet has held the role of AP Spanish Reader - Table Leader at Educational Testing Service (ETS) since June 2010 and previously taught Spanish and ESOL at Miami Christian School from August 2006 to July 2022. Earlier experience includes a position as a VESOL Teacher at Miami Dade College from January 2006 to December 2010. Israel Ortet holds a Bachelor of Education degree from ISPLE in Havana, Cuba, earned between 1991 and 1996.
