Russ Johnson

Russ Johnson is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in technology consulting and education governance. As Chief Executive Officer of True North Consulting Group since July 2014, Russ addresses organizational challenges associated with rapidly advancing technology. In November 2022, Russ was elected to the Board of Trustees for Lorena Independent School District, focusing on leadership and community engagement. Additionally, Russ serves as Southern Region Board President and Board Member At Large for the Association for Learning Environments, promoting the improvement of educational environments across Texas and surrounding states. As a member of the Board of Directors for AFCOM since November 2018, Russ supports data center and IT infrastructure professionals. Previously, Russ held the role of Chief Executive Officer at TFE, a technology integrator, from 1998 to June 2014 and served as Director of Technology Utilization and Information Management at Central National Bank from June 1996 to June 1998.
