William M. Simmons

William “Mike” Simmons is a seasoned business professional with thirty years hands-on experience in a variety of roles.

He has global experience, having traveled to and done business in more than fifty countries. From the offshore drilling industry, he has extensive experience in creative deal development and execution, and a solid background in investment vehicle creation, investment/industry research, analysis and advising.

He formerly was President of Houston-based Loosbrock Offshore Consultants, and a partner in Normarine Offshore (Cyprus), both of which engaged in the buying, selling and management of offshore drilling rigs worldwide. Mr. Simmons also has a rich background as a writer, editor and publisher for the offshore oil and gas industry, and was Senior Editor (Energy Group) for San Francisco-based Off The Record Research, an investment advisory firm.

A 1980 graduate of Texas A&M, and a former military intelligence analyst, Mr. Simmons lives in the Texas Hill Country.
