Sharad Mehrotra

Sharad Mehrotra is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the telecommunications industry. Currently serving as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer at True Corporation since March 2023, Sharad previously held the position of CEO at dtac from February 2020 to February 2023. Prior roles include CEO of Telenor Myanmar and Telenor India, as well as Chief Marketing Officer for Telenor Myanmar and Chief Sales Officer for Telenor India, where Sharad established the Uninor brand in a competitive market. Sharad's earlier experience includes serving as Regional CEO for East India at Aircel, where leadership was established in the Assam and Northeast regions, and as Director of Sales and Marketing at Ericsson, responsible for P&L and strategic direction for the Indian market. Education includes a BE in Electronics and an MBA in Marketing from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
