Molly Pon

As senior legal counsel for True, Molly partners closely with the firm’s finance and operations team on deal execution, fund management, and legal review of activity across the True Portfolio.

Molly’s previous experience spans strategic transactions, SEC compliance, and corporate governance. Most recently, she was corporate counsel at customer service software company Zendesk where she advised the team on securities reporting, investor relations, and board and committee matters. Prior to that, Molly represented public companies, investment banks, and private equity funds on M&A, capital markets transactions, and disclosure practices at the law firm Ropes & Gray, LLP.

Molly holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California Berkeley School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in political science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, where she was the captain of its women’s volleyball team.
