Dr. Chris Schweigert

Dr. Chris Schweigert serves as the Senior Director of Cybersecurity Operations at TrueBlue Inc. since June 2021, overseeing all cybersecurity operations within a hybrid multi-cloud environment and leading teams focused on Threat Hunt, Vulnerability Management, and Cloud Security Operations. In addition to this role, Dr. Schweigert contributes to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Northcentral University and as an Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland Global Campus, where advanced cyber threat prevention skills are taught. Previously, leadership positions included Chief Information Security Officer at SimonMed Imaging and various roles at TrueBlue Inc., including Principal Cyber Threat Engineer. Early career highlights include positions at Presidio and as Chief of Information Protection at McChord AFB. Dr. Schweigert holds a Doctorate in Cyber Security from Capitol Technology University and a Master's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
