Joshua Courtney, DO

Joshua Courtney, DO, is a highly experienced medical professional and entrepreneur with a focus on anesthesiology and medical education. As the Founder and Executive Chairman of TrueLearn since October 2013, Joshua has also served as President and CEO and Chief Medical Officer, leading the company's evolution from COMBANK Medical Inc. Founded in 2008. Prior to TrueLearn, Joshua was a Staff Anesthesiologist at Mobile Anesthesiologists and completed an Anesthesiology Residency at Allegheny Health Network. Joshua's diverse background includes an Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratory Fellowship at the CDC, concentrating on molecular research of tick-borne diseases. Education includes a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in General Biology and English from Washington & Jefferson College.
