Bob Conrad is the current Chief Operating Officer at Truepenny People. Before taking on this role, they worked as the Sourcing Manager at Cushman & Wakefield from February 2017 to October 2019. In this position, they were responsible for all sourcing and contracts initiatives in support of Avaya Global Real Estate. Conrad was able to deliver year over year cost savings and increased/improved operations efficiencies while consolidating the supply base.
From March 2016 to January 2017, Conrad served as the Director of Supply Chain for DRS Technologies, Inc. In this role, they managed production planning, subcontracts, proposal pricing, tactical purchasing of goods and services, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and strategic sourcing for over $100 million per year.
Conrad has also worked as a consultant for Resources Global Professionals and as a Strategic Sourcing Manager for CBRE. Most recently, they served as the Director of Purchasing and Business Services for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority from November 2011 to March 2012.
Bob Conrad has a B.S. in Business Administration from Auburn University, a Certificate from Harvard Business School's OPM Key Executives Course, a DISAM Diploma from the College of International Security Affairs in Indstiral Supply and Foreign Military Sales, and a CGSC from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College in Military Staff and Command Management. Bob is also certified by The Ken Blanchard Companies in The SLII Experience TM, Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee in Vested Outsourcing, and the US Army in Logistics Assistance Officer, Contract Officer Representative, and CRI Project Management.
